of these cool, damp woods are the Asiatic Black Bear, the leopard, the
Goral (mountain goat-antelope),the elusive Serow, the yellow throated
Pine Marten etc.

We organize walks through mountain, forest, grassland and riverine habitats
to show the splendour of our exquisite and unending bird life to birders.
Different ecosystems are home to different species and there is both trans
Himalayan as well as local seasonal migration of various species which can
be observed.

Our sprawling estate is precisely marked with nature trails passing through
picturesque landscapes, bamboo grooves, orchards and water bodies. The alert
and the curious can watch nature's drama unfold within the property as it is
freely visited by our wild neighbours.
CAUTION....
1. Animals have the first right of way within and all around the property.
A little alertness,sensitivity and respect is all that is required to keep you safe.
2. Avoid making any loud noise,crackers,loud music etc
3. Avoid dropping burning matchsticks,cigarettes or any other fire sources
on the forest floor.
4. All encounters with wildlife should be handled calmly.Hold your ground,
maintain silence,peace and distance. Do not intrude the personal space of
any animal and allow him the first right of way. Remember that no animal
is vindictive or trying to deliberately harm you.
5. Do not litter the forest floor with plastics or any other non biodegradable junk.
6. Do not throw waste food items near camp site. Predators have an acute sense
of smell and their survival is related to homing in on food sources.
